Welcome and thank you for visiting my website
I first began my formal spiritual practice in 2000 when I was initiated into Sufism, a mantra based spiritual practice. The mantra in Sufi practices literally means “remembering”. It is believed that repetition of the Mantra (or Zekr) brings deep healing and peace to one’s being. You may sing along, focus on your breath, focus on the sounds, or just be with the music and the words.
I had a near death experience when I turned 40, and my life was completely altered. Ultimately, this occurrence was for the better. I looked to reconnect with the spiritual world that I had lost touch with over the past 20 years in the midst of raising kids, living in various countries, and working in the corporate world as an engineer.
“When you look for me, you will find me”. ~ Jeremiah 29:13
I started with TM meditation, and soon after I found my now guru, Roger Gabriel, and I learned Primordial Sound Meditation, abbreviated as PSM, from him. During the following 6 months, I practiced meditation devotedly. That's when I knew I had finally found my life's calling.
“The thirsty look for water, but water also looks for thirsty”. ~ Rumi.
In May of the following year, the teachings of Roger Gabril (Raghavanand), at the Chopra Center gave me the privilege of becoming a teacher of the PSM technique. In the time between that monumental experience and the present day, I have been blessed to have many spiritual
adventures, travel the world, meet some amazing teachers, and learn further spiritual practices.
Meditation allowed for a long-lost surge of endless creativity to flow through me once more, and my artwork, as a result, is a manifestation of the universe’s creativity. In place of simply withholding these works, hidden from all else, I have decided to share them with the world through this website. I hope some of them will prove to be a source of inspiration and act as a muse for you. This website is a work in progress, and as I create more material, I will continue to add to it. To find your spiritual path is a great blessing. I wish you every joy and fulfillment on your journey homeward.
With love,
Shay Louise
Bio
Born in Tehran, Iran, Shay Louise, spent her early life years in Iran, where many famous spiritual teachers, such as Hafez and Rumi, have been born. She first learned Sufism meditation there in the early 2000s. It instantly became a concealed seed in her soul which blossomed and grew into a majestic flower as she trained to be a meditation teacher under Roger Gabriel at Chopra Center.
After moving to the U.S., Shay Louise learned positive thinking and methods of working with the mind from beloved Louise Hay, the famous American spiritual teacher who taught thousands of people the connection between the mind and the body and the power of positive thinking. Shay followed her great teacher Louise Hay until Louise came to rest in her final home on August 30, 2017, and still after that. Since then, Shay picked the name “Louise” as her signature to show her love and respect to her beloved teacher. In the infinity of life, where Louise rests, all is well.
“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation”. ~ Rumi
Shay has been blessed to meet and study with great teachers in the East and West, from Louise Hay, Roger Gabriel, Deepak Chopra to the Darvishes of Iran. She incorporates much of what she has learned in her practices and teachings and she still and forever knows herself as lifetime spiritual student.

Primordial Sound Meditation, which is based on Mantra, is our main focus of Shay's teaching.
A mantra is a syllable, word, or phrase that is repeated during meditation. Mantras can be spoken, chanted, whispered, or even simply repeated in the mind. Most mantra meditation techniques have two essential components: mindfulness meditation and mantra recitation or chanting. While this age-old practice is known to have Buddhist and Hindu roots, forms of “sacred word” recitation exist within a great variety of spiritual traditions, including those of the Judeo-Christian and Shamanic. Primordial Sound Meditation is a style of meditation rooted in the Vedic tradition of India. It relies on a series of fundamental tones, or mantras, that help to attune your individual vibration to the unified field of energy that permeates all of existence.
